Mutarn and Frankenstein PT02

Scene 3
Basement, now relatively tidy. Mutarn and Frankenstein are sitting at a table, fiddling with a monster in a cardboard box.
Frankenstein:   Done! Though hardly satisfactory.
Mutarn:   A variation on the giant millipede?
Frankenstein: Too many legs, it'll get all tangled! And what about all the eyes….
Mutarn: So, do we finish it off, or lock it in a room with a worst enemy of our choice?
Frankenstein: Do we have a worst enemy yet?
Door opens out of site, John's silhouette on back wall.
John: (off stage) I need the first part of the rent in by the end of the day. But I'll waive it if one of you does the shopping.
Frankenstein: Shoot! I forgot to set up the printing press!
Mutarn: We have no money yet! And the shops are miles off...
Frankenstein: We don't both have to go, let's toss a coin to decide.
Mutarn: No money, remember?
Frankenstein:   Then let's toss the creature instead!
Mutarn: Hmmm… Ok. Heads, I win. Tails I'll do the shopping.
They gather round as the creature is tossed out of sight. There is a whoosh and a splat
Mutarn: Heads! I win!
Frankenstein: Unfair!
Mutarn: It landed on heads.
Frankenstein:
Obviously! You gave it two heads and no tail!
Scene 4
Shop. Frankenstein walks up and down, picking items from stacks everywhere. </I>
Frankenstein:   (Angry mutterings) Stupid rigged system. Trying to get me to do all the work. He had better do what he said he would and sort out part of my stuff. Arrh!
